Reading Festival Feedback
Thanks so much to everyone who has already completed the feedback survey on the Liverpool Children’s Festival of Reading. It has become a popular annual event and we’d love to be able to ensure that this continues for future years. To make this happen, we need to apply for funding that will allow us to continue to book authors and supply books to schools. It would be really helpful if staff could fill in this short survey to help us assess the impact of the festival on their pupils. Feedback Link
Project Fortitude: National Research Project
University of Sheffield and Nottingham Trent University are looking for schools to work with them on a research project focusing on children and young people’s understanding of their rights and the law. With children and young people, they have developed a game that can be used in educational settings to teach them about rights and responsibilities. We are now looking to evaluate it formally in partnership with a wide range of schools across England. For more information please see the attached flyer.
Everton Vs Liverpool Women’s Derby- 24th March
Everton’s home Barclays Women’s Super League Merseyside derby against Liverpool will again take place at Goodison Park on Sunday 24 March at 1pm.
Last season’s Merseyside derby saw a Club-record crowd of more than 22,000 turn out at Goodison to cheer on Brian Sorensen’s side. And, with 2024/25 set to be the Club’s final season at the stadium, the much-anticipated clash will be one of the last chances to see Everton Women in action at the Blues’ 132-year-old home. With Premier League matches consistently selling out, it will also provide a fantastic opportunity for families to watch live football at Goodison.
Tickets for u18s are just £2 and group bookings can be made here: https://evertonfc.tfaforms.net/1298
