Liverpool Learning Partnership provides a range of professional development opportunities tailored specifically to enhance reading practices among educators and support staff. Our training sessions are thoughtfully curated to support professionals at every stage of their career journey, from Early Career Teachers to Reading/English Leads and SLT members. These sessions cover a wide array of subjects, including Reading for Pleasure, Diversity and Inclusion in Children’s Literature, Comics and Graphic Novels, and more.

Throughout the year we will hold live online training sessions and we also offer on-demand video training. These video sessions are perfect for busy educators seeking flexible learning opportunities that fit into their schedule.

There is also an option for schools to request for Jenny to deliver a workshop at their staff meetings, focusing on specific areas of interest relating to reading for pleasure or diversity in children’s literature.

Online and face to face training is included within the cost of LLP membership. Non-LLP members can also attend training or access videos but will incur a small cost for this.

Jenny is also available to provide bespoke workshops, talks and presentations for outside organisations. Whether you’re a local authority, university, Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), or another non-member organization, we can tailor our expertise to meet your specific requirements and objectives.
