- Kooth are running some support sessions for parents/carers of young people sitting exams.
In April we’re running webinars specifically to help parents and carers with children sitting exams. Please let your network of parents know about this support available, especially if they are worried about their child’s anxiety:
Also attached is some information from Bully Busters regarding some sessions they are running to support conflict resolution.
Transition Summer Schools
We have been successful in securing some funding to support summer schools for vulnerable pupils from the Families Programme. This will enable primary schools to identify pupils and liaise with secondary colleagues to ensure the best possible start for these year 7 pupils. We will also be able to offer some input from the mental health support teams around anxiety/worry, etc. A briefing will be held on zoom for Secondary colleagues who may wish to attend a briefing to find out more. This will take place on Wednesday 1st May at 2.30pm: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89945700987
