LLP Membership- Note To Headteachers

Thank you so much to everyone who has already completed the form to let us know whether you’d like to be members of Liverpool Learning Partnership for the new academic year.

We currently have staff expressing interest in programmes for the year ahead, so it’s really helpful to know which schools will be joining us as this helps us to plan for upcoming projects.

If you haven’t yet filled in the form, please take a few minutes to do so here: form

Liverpool Learning Partnership is an independent charity and membership organisation. Schools contribute £2 per learner per year, which we’re able to convert into approximately £7 worth of resources, projects, and support per learner.

For more information on the benefits of LLP membership, please see this flyer.

Liverpool Maths Party: 17th October: SAVE THE DATE

We’ve moved the date to 17th October to make sure every school can join in—especially those with a longer October half term.

The Liverpool Maths Party, coordinated by Liverpool Learning Partnership, is an annual celebration of the role maths plays in everyday life. It’s all about promoting positive, creative messages about maths, with schools across the city planning their own fun and flexible activities.

From maths in music to data in transport to real-world maths in careers, there’s something for every learner to enjoy.

💡 What’s included?

  • A Padlet of free downloadable resources for all schools
  • Exclusive content for LLP members, including:
🎶 A brand-new Early Years maths and music video with multi-talented musician James Lyons
    🚆 A Maths & Careers Q&A for Y5–7 featuring Merseyrail staff
📺 Plus more exciting livestreams and videos to be announced soon!

Education in Mind Conference: 13th November (Revised Date)

We are excited to bring the Education in Mind Conference back to you on 13th November 2025 (revised date). This will be an opportunity for collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving around mental health and wellbeing in schools. It’s also an opportunity to celebrate the amazing work that School Mental Health Leads do.

Each school will receive one fully funded place to attend the event. Further places can be booked by schools at a reduced cost. Booking information will be available soon.

Any schools who share best practice presentations or contribute to the event will also be able to access further free places. If you would like to present or contribute towards the conference in another way, please complete this short form:

https://forms.office.com/e/qFkMjJNi84

Key themes for the event are:

  • Parent/Carer mental health and support
  • Equality, Diversity and Inclusion around mental health and wellbeing
  • Transition
  • Attendance & Behaviour
  • Staff wellbeing

For those Headteachers who are also the Senior Mental Health Lead in their school, we are aware that this date clashes with the second LPHA General Meeting. We will consider this within the programming of the day to focus anything more applicable to leadership into the afternoon. Apologies for the clash, but as a multi-agency event we had numerous competing factors to take into consideration. We moved this from our original date to avoid a clash with the first LPHA General, but then with limited options of date alternatives, it clashed again.

Reading, Arts and Culture Network

We’re launching a network this September for those leading on Reading, Arts or Culture, whether new to the role or looking to reconnect, share ideas and hear about local opportunities. We know that reading for pleasure and engagement in the arts are both in long-term decline, yet both are vital for wellbeing, creativity and learning across the curriculum.

With 2026 set to be a national Year of Reading, this is the perfect time to build momentum in your school.

We’re inviting reading, literacy and arts leads or anyone interested in cultural learning from LLP member schools to join our new network.
We’ll share:

  • Updates on local and national projects in reading for pleasure, arts and culture
  • Opportunities for member-exclusive LLP projects
  • Opportunities to connect with others doing this work across the city

We will also include time for network members to share best practice, discuss school priorities in these areas and share ideas together.

Join our first meeting on Thursday 18th September at 3.45. Sign up to attend at: Reading, Arts and Culture Network – Liverpool Learning Partnership
