PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:
This is a Liverpool Children’s Festival of Reading session with Kurly for UKS2/3 classes.
This is a FREE session for Liverpool Learning Partnership member schools*.
About Kurly: Kurly is a poet and Hip Hop artist. He visits schools and youth/community settings throughout the UK as a freelance literacy engagement specialist – each year helping thousands of children to read, write and perform with confidence. Previously he taught English and Citizenship in a Pupil Referral Unit and is an active member of Love Music Hate Racism (endorsed by Ed Sheeran, Cold Play, Stormzy and many others).
About the session: This session will be live-streamed through the Liverpool Learning Partnership website. The event will also be available to watch for 3 working days after the event on the Liverpool Learning Partnership website. Please purchase a ticket even if you intend to watch afterwards as this will ensure you get the links to do so.
Booking the session: Please book one ticket per school. We’ll send a link that you can then share with the colleagues so they can connect to the session. For our records you will be asked how many children will be accessing the session. We understand that numbers may change before the day so please estimate or calculate using the information you have at the moment.
Access needs: If you have any accessibility needs (eg a subtitled feed), please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate these: admin@liverpoollearningpartnership.com.
Resources: Resources to accompany this session will be added to the festival padlet and the Liverpool Learning Partnership website where they can be downloaded.
