SUMMARY:Little People\, Big Feelings
DESCRIPTION:Thursday 26th June 3.45-5pm \nThis autumn\, LLP will be partnering with Everton in the Community on a new initiative funded by the Liverpool Families Hub. The project is designed to support parents of nursery-aged children in developing their child’s emotional understanding\, resilience\, and self-confidence. \nWe are inviting LLP member schools located in the most deprived areas of Liverpool (IMD deciles 1\, 2\, and 3) to attend an information session to learn more about this opportunity. \nAbout the Project\n10 schools will work alongside LLP and Everton in the Community to co-deliver a six-week ‘Stay and Play’ programme for parents/carers and their nursery-aged children. These engaging sessions will focus on how play-based activities and shared reading can nurture children’s personal\, social\, and emotional development (PSED). The Stay and Plays will use the PEEP approach. \nThe programme will be planned by LLP and delivery of the Stay and Plays will be carried out by school staff alongside PEEP trained staff from both LLP and Everton in the Community. \nAdditional Benefits\nSchools who take part in the project will receive: \nA curated collection of books and resources for their setting \nTake-home books for families to encourage continued engagement at home \nWe hope you’ll consider taking part in this impactful project to help strengthen family-school partnerships and improve early outcomes for children in your community. \nBook your place at the information session to find out more and learn how to secure your school’s involvement in the project. \nIf you have any queries about the project or this session\, please contact Jenny: jenny@liverpoollearningpartnership.com \nIf for any reason the link isn’t working or you have any queries\, please email admin@liverpoollearningpartnership.com and we’ll be able to support with getting you booked on.
